BUTYLEN-System 2 is ideal for field joint coating and for pipe coating and rehabilitation in gas pipelines and gas supply lines. Such applications demand an approved system with a highly adaptable inner tape, a tensioning and an outer tape, which has proven itself highly stressable in a range of construction applications. Whether it's used under wintry conditions at temperatures of -20°C (-4°F) or at the height of summer at +30°C (+86°F), BUTYLEN-System 2 fulfils all requirements.
