FORTIDE®-WS
FORTIDE®-WS is a two-component epoxy coating for corrosion protection on pipelines in use on wet surfaces.
- Can be applied to wet surfaces without time-consuming pre-treatment.
- For operating temperatures up to +80 °C (+176 °F).
- Coating of pipes under load is possible.
- Fulfils ISO21809-3, type 18-A.
- Free from volatile solvents and isocyanates.
FORTIDE®-WS provides durable corrosion protection for pipelines covered with a condensate film. The pipelines can be under load during the application of FORTIDE®-WS and the coating can be applied directly to the wet surface. This eliminates the need for time-consuming pipeline shutdowns and long waiting times, which significantly reduces costs.

Wet surfaces are a challenge, particularly when rehabilitating existing coatings on pipeline systems. The special composition of FORTIDE®-WS ensures a high-quality and long-lasting coating even with a condensate film on the surface during application. FORTIDE®-WS is also the perfect solution in geographic areas with high humidity, such as the Middle East, Central Asia or South America.
