BUTYLEN System 3 is a field joint coating system for permanent corrosion prevention on pipelines and pipeline components. BUTYLEN System 3 is a highly stressable system thanks to its design comprised of three BUTYLEN tapes. The self-amalgamation effect of the inside tape BUTYLEN-032-65 AS creates a virtually gas and water-tight, highly electrically insulating coating.
