The Zurich water supply company was looking for a solution to repair a small defect in the external corrosion protection of an underwater pipeline through Lake Zurich. The general conditions were challenging, as the work on the pipeline had to be carried out underwater, in operation and by divers who were not experts in the field.
For this special application, the MarineProtect® 2000 FD system was used for the corrosion protection of piers and pipes in the water.
