PLASTELEN®-Tape ET consists of a resistant polypropylene fleece and an anti-corrosion compound based on petrolatum, which is malleable even at increased temperatures and ensures optimum surface wetting combined with simple application. Thanks to special high-performance additives, operating temperatures between -40°C (-40°F) and up to +70°C (+158°F) are achieved. PLASTELEN®-Tape ET is ideally suited to covering metallic components, fittings, flanges, pipes and pipe components in the field of pipelines and in power station and pipeline station constructions. The development draws on almost 100 years of experience, particularly with petrolatum tapes. The special high-performance additives guarantee particular stabilisation as well as smooth application, even in the hottest countries in the world. Thanks to its special design, in connection with the mechanical protective tape, an additional high impact resistance and an tight encasement will be established.
