PLASTELEN®-AQ Primer HT is a petrolatum-based corrosion prevention mastic and an integral component of the VivaxCoat®-HT coating system. The solvent-free primer offers outstanding coverage on wet surfaces and at high temperatures. Benefit from the almost 100 years of experience with PLASTELEN® petrolatum tapes, which we have used in the development of the primer.

PLASTELEN®-AQ Primer HT is ideal for use on wet surfaces and at high temperatures of up to +100°C (+212°F). PLASTELEN®-AQ Primer HT is used for field joint coatings and pipe coatings for pipelines, e.g. in power stations and station construction. In particular, transport lines, coolant lines or pipes which are found in areas with high air humidity can be reliably protected from corrosion with PLASTELEN®-AQ Primer HT. Simple application during uninterrupted pipeline operation means that you can save time and money.
